Frequently asked questions
- Is it free?
- Yes — and it runs entirely in your browser. No files are uploaded to any server.
- Can I merge multiple PDFs?
- Yes. Drop several PDFs at once or use Add PDF to append them. Drag pages between them freely.
- How do I reorder pages?
- Drag any thumbnail to a new position. Hold Shift or Ctrl/Cmd to select multiple pages and drag them as a group.
- Can I split a PDF into multiple files?
- Yes. Click Split in the toolbar and choose one-per-page, every N pages, or custom ranges like "1-3, 4-6".
- Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
- No — you'll need to unlock the PDF first. Browser security prevents reading encrypted files.
- How do I add page numbers?
- Click Page Numbers in the toolbar to set position, format, font, and starting number. The numbered file downloads immediately.
- What's the maximum file size?
- There's no hard limit — processing happens locally in your browser, so it depends on your device's memory.
