Common questions

Can I start numbering from a custom number?
Yes — use the Start at field. Useful if this document is part of a larger series.
What formats are available?
1, 2, 3 / Page 1 / 1 of 10 / or a custom template using {page} and {total} tokens.
Can I number only some pages?
The tool numbers all pages in the current view. Use reorder/delete first to trim the page set.
Will numbering affect PDF quality?
No — numbers are drawn as vector text, not rasterised. File quality is preserved.
